Verification of Competency (VOC)
Description
A Verification of Competency (VOC) is an assessment method which may ensure a person can competently and safely operate a piece of equipment for which they hold the certificate or other competency.
With the new harmonisation laws it is no longer acceptable to assume that an employee is trained sufficiently.
Participants will receive a VOC ticket on completion with the make and model of the machine that they were assessed on.
Location
It is usually best that an employee does the VOC on the specific machine they will be operating, ACMT can go to the workplace/worksite to do the assessments. However, if this is not practical they can do a VOC on a machine on our site.

Common Questions
Do VOC tickets have an expiry date?
No, we put a date of issue onto the ticket. It is up to the company accepting the VOC ticket on how long they will accept a ticket for. Some companies, for example, will only accept a VOC ticket if it was issued within 2 years.
Can VOC assessments do done in conjunction with a Certificate Course?
Yes, there is a charge of $50 per machine to add a VOC ticket.

ACMT provide VOC assessments to ensure you meet Lendlease’s minimum requirements.
