Verification of Competency (VOC)
Description
A Verification of Competency (VOC) is an assessment method which may ensure a person can competently and safely operate a piece of equipment for which they hold the certificate or other competency.
With the new harmonisation laws it is no longer acceptable to assume that an employee is trained sufficiently.
The VOC register book is given to each participant assessed and will serve as a record of the holder’s assessments. The register does not replace the requirement to carry licences or other certification as required.

Location
It is usually best that an employee does the VOC on the specific machine they will be operating, ACMT can go to the workplace/worksite to do the assessments. However, if this is not practical they can do a VOC on a machine on our site.
Machines
Below is most of the machines we can do VOC assessments on however we are able to tailor an assessment to suit your specific machine.
Previously we have done VOC assessments on Side Tipper Trucks, Tow Tugs and Rail Excavators.
